Dr. Allyson Supowitz DDS MS
Periodontal Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Allyson Supowitz is a Periodontics Specialist, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University, Summa Cum Laude.
A passionate advocate for bringing quality dental care to underserved populations, Dr. Supowitz then worked for Oral Health America, a dental non-profit dedicated to education, programming, and access to care. She pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. While in Iowa, she won numerous awards for clinical and research excellence from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Academy of Periodontology. Following dental school, she obtained further education and received her certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science degrees at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester, NY. During her time in Rochester, Dr. Supowitz focused her research on immediate implant placement in the esthetic zone to enhance treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction. She was also selected to teach general dentists on basic periodontal and implant surgical techniques.
Dr. Supowitz maintains memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and other local dental societies.
Dr. Supowitz moved to Buffalo, NY with her husband, Dr. Philip Niles. That's when she joined the Buffalo Dental Implant team!
